I just can't get enough!

I know you have had enough.... but here are more of my furniture and decor makeovers. I am going through a phase right now. When I feel my furniture is finished to my liking I will than be done.

Baden's side table was glossy mahogany. Now it is Satin black distressed.

Our office desk (actually a sofa table but we use it as a desk). Caramel color.

Sanded and painted with heirloom white on the bottom and antique walnut stain on top. Finished with a wax coating.

Our original bedroom with black mirror and black lamps. I like it but I like change.....
A true turquoise mirror, with a black glaze. The lamps also painted turquoise with hints of black glaze.
Closer shot.
Even closer shot. I like this picture because of the reflection in the mirror.
The armour was already black, I just added a turquoise glaze to the edges to give it a little more color.

There will be more. Oh yes there will be more...........

Field day fun!

The kids school had it's 2ND annual field day on Thursday. I love field day! It is one of my favorite memories of elementary school. So I really got a kick out of watching the kids on their field day. I believe there were 15 stations, and the grades k-2 were together. So I was able to see Bradley and Jillian at the same time. There are to many activities to list but I know the kids were having a blast. I am so grateful their school decided to start doing field day, because I know that getting outside and doing something physically active and fun, is so important for their mind and body. It also creates great memories!
