At it again!

I decided something had to be done with my living room side table and coffee table. I did not like the shiny, dark veneer finish on the top. So I decided to faux paint it to look like my dining room table which is a teak wood.
I viewed tutorials online on how it should be done, I went to home depot and had someone help me pick out the colors based on the dining room picture below, I than proceeded to paint and faux. Below are the results.

 

 

 

 

Mom's Great Gift!

My Mom is a creative, talented women. This year for Christmas she surprised 5 of her Granddaughters with a Raggedy Ann doll. She picked colors that matched their very first room decor. Jillian said it was one of her favorite gifts. I think I was more surprised and excited than Jillian was though.

Christmas Breakdown 2010!

We had a great Christmas this year! It seemed to fly by but we also fit as many fun things as possible.
Here is what we did:
Made treats
Ate treats
Gave treats
Went and looked at lights
Went to Grandma and Grandpas house for Christmas eve.
We acted out the nativity scene and Bill did a great job filling in for Bradley.
Went to Christy's(my sister) house for Christmas day.
Bill and the boys took a ride on their tractor ( I wish I had a picture.... Hint hint to anyone who does)
For New Years eve we spent it with Julie and Gary (Bill's sister).

That pretty much sums it up. It was pretty simple and that is what made it fun!
